Registrant/ Registration Types

Registrant Types
A way to categorize each registrant.

Example: Examples of registrant types: guest, speaker, member, vendor, sponsor, exhibitor, complimentary, student.

This feature can be used to setup event pricing structures and offer discounts through Price Attributes e.g. if you set up "guest" as a registrant type, guest will be added to the registrant/registration type drop-down list.

When you add an event and you set up event prices, you will be able to select "guest" from the registrant type or registration type drop-down list and assign a lower event fee. Then, when an individual who matches the guest criteria registers for an event, the assigned fee will display.

To Add a Registrant Type:

  1. Go to Modules > Event > Overview > Events Setup > Registrant Tab
  2. On the registrant types child form, click the Add icon.
  3. The Add - Registrant Type window opens.
  4. Enter the registrant type code.
  5. Click the guest flag? check box if this registrant type is a guest.
